Paul Scully, Senior Partner

Paul is a Founder and Senior Partner at CRS Global Advisors. He has over 25 years experience in politics, campaigning and at a senior level of business.

Paul served as a UK Member of Parliament for almost a decade. In that time, he served as a government minister in four different Departments, as Minister for London for four years, as the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Thailand, Brunei and Myanmar, and as Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party. Prior to be elected an MP, he also served as a Councillor for a London Borough for 5 years.

Notably as Minister for Small Business, Consumers & Corporate Responsibility, he was responsible for small business, hospitality, retail and the British Business Bank throughout Covid. His final Ministerial role as Minister for Tech & Digital Economy, Paul was responsible for the development of the UK AI Whitepaper and Semiconductor strategy, working with G7 and G20 partners in the lead up to the AI Safety Summit at Bletchley Park. He led on the completion of the groundbreaking Online Safety Act.

Prior to politics, Paul and Az Chowdhury founded Nudge Factory in 2011, a corporate affairs consultancy acting for governments, businesses and private entrepreneurs.

Paul is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, completed the Ministerial training for major projects by Infrastructure Projects Authority and Said Business School, Oxford University.
